Real Estate Appraiser

HVA, Inc. has an opportunity for an appraiser with experience who is willing to learn a more profitable system. We encourage our staff to further their education in the real estate appraisal field, especially obtaining the MAI designation. The position will also offer exposure to a wide range of property types.

 

Compensation and Benefits: Compensation is based on a competitive fee split. Benefits include Health Insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), Simple IRA retirement savings account, and MAI dues (if applicable). All employees also have the opportunity to work from home.

 

Qualifications: The applicant’s minimum qualifications must include a four-year college degree (preferably in business, or real estate), strong writing and communication skills, good organizational skills, and superior computer skills with an emphasis on the Internet, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. The ideal candidate is a Florida State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, and has knowledge of CoStar Comps, Narrative1, and Argus. You must have at least two years experience appraising commercial real estate under the supervision of a MAI appraiser.
